Actually, if the dems want to commit the ultimate suicide they can still pass the health care bill in the senate via reconciliation aka the nuclear option, which only requires a majority of 51 votes to pass. I wouldn't put it past them to do that. It is crazy though when you think of how hard they are trying to pass radical reforms such as health care and cap and trade with such low support and no bipartisanship.
