oh sir please do not do that. The ford motors are very good motors you just need to look for a good one. They have much better transmissions and suspensions on them as well. The dodge you will be replacing a tranny it's not a matter of it's a matter of when and the GM are glorified half tons. I mean independent front suspension doesn't not belong on heavy duty trucks. Out of either of those 2 i would look for a 24v 5.9 dodge. It was the best motor that they made but like i said be ready to have an after market tranny put in it. I really like the dodges but im not willing to play the tranny problem games.

I agree with you on the GMs which is why I doubt seriously that I would get one, and the Dodge I would only buy the 5.9 liter high output. Dodge is nice but I can't stand their interior unless it is the Laramie. I will probably end up in a 2007 F-250 and just looked at one tonight which was nice but not sure about the color (Red). I love Ford trucks but the new engines are mostly built in house and the 6.7 will be completely in house built, which means not a diesel company making it, but Ford. I also don't like how quiet all of the new diesels are, I prefer the nice chattering sound of a true diesel. It looks like I will be in another Ford unless I run across a damn nice Dodge Laramie.

how many miles you have on that truck pig

68000 on this one..mostly towing miles...pull a 37' toyhauler with 3 bikes in it alot....my 2003 had 110,000 when i traded it

if it's a 2007 i believe it's a 24v 5.9 im pretty sure in 08 is when they went to the bigger motor but i think there are some 07.5 that also have the newer motor in them.
