A new recruit had just come home for a little R & R after Basic
Training, prior to being shipped out.
He is in a bar with his best friend telling him about Parachute School.
The recruit tells his buddy,
"We trained for four weeks, learning how to pack the chute, what to
expect on our first jump, and how to safely land.
So, we go up to qualify for our first jump. There are about 20 of us
on board with our Drill Sargent and it comes time to tether up and
jump out the rear of the aircraft. I am the last one in line."
When it becomes my turn, I completely freeze up.
My Seargent comes over and yells "Jump soldier, NOW!!!"
I tell the Sarge, " I can't do it".
The Sargent says " Listen up soldier!, You will jump out of this
aircraft or I will personally bend you over and give it to you right
up the a$$! GOT IT!!!"
The recruits friend is shocked and says, "So what happened?, Did you jump?"
The recruit replies, " Yeah.............a little at first"
