What is everyone doing today? We are going downtown to "the windy city" and staying at a hotel, shopping, swimming (inside of course) and just relaxing! It is going to be a cold one down there cause it is only 5 degrees right now, brrr! Hope everyone has a great day!

hey, some fence work. I'm struggling with today's agenda. I definitely have some fencing that needs attention, but the wife really wanted me to relax today.
I have several hundred rounds of 9mm screaming at me from the ammo box, and a Ruger addiction that's literally making my palms sweat from withdrawals.
I haven't spent enough time with my daughter the last couple days. She spent the night with my mother the night before last, then my mother-inlaw last night.
I'm torn.1 up

Got lots of work to get back to!! Glad the holidays are done for awhile!!! Hope everyone survived last night!! I fell asleep, like a party animal, didn't even see the New Year's ball drop!! LOL

Since my girl and I broke up shortly before Christmas and spent no time together for weeks (we've since made up), we are spending a few days together from New Year's Day til Sunday. I took her and her daughter out to dinner to bring in the New Year. The funny thing is that we all pigged out for dinner (they had steak and I had pork chop). Her daughter, who is no bigger than a 12 yr. old boy, said that she was craving a brownie a la mode so I got her one that was at least a square foot wide with loads of french vanilla ice cream and whipped cream on it. People at other tables were staring at it and was probably shocked to see the waiter lay it in front of the smallest person at the table. In fact, the whipped cream and ice cream was so high that my girl took a picture of how it literally hid her daughter's face.
