My daughter just turned 5yrs old a month ago. She's tried to play some of my older consoles. Like Atari 2600.lol...nah, but she's tried to play little Mario Cart, and was still to much for her. That was a couple yrs ago, though, too. but I think a Wii takes care of all ages, correct? She could probably "get" the children's games more now anyway, than when she was 3.
I can't wait to play the darn thing. I've never really played a Wii. I've always heard how fun they are.
My daughter doesn't really know she wants one. She just wants a Barbie bike with a little miniature bicycle attached to the handlebar for a Barbie doll to sit on. So, gotta grab that. The Wii was on sale, and came with a $50 store card for Wal-Mart. Can't beat that. I think that'll make the Barbie bike like $20.
So the Wii we got says it has a Sports game included. It looks like the bowling, golf, tennis, etc. Is that game okay, or should we use that $50 on a new game. Suggestions please??? Somoething that a 5yr old could handle, as well as us old codgers enjoy.
Probably need to get a 2nd controller for sure too, huh?
I saw a kit with extensions that you slide onto the wand/remote controller. It had a tennis racket, baseball bat, golf club(maybe)...I just remember it having about 10 different things to go over the controller for sport games, to make the controller feel more like what you're doing. I would imagine a racket would help with tennis. I'm gonna kick butt and take names with that tennis.
