Hey Johnnyb, it deals with perceptions and how Islam is represented by its followers and by those who call Islam a terriost religion. You cant say that these terriost are attacking us when these are the same people that you gave money and support too. Johnnyb when it comes down to it America could careless about the Iraqi people. If it wasnt for Sept 11 we wouldnt be over there right now but America has been looking for years for a reason to work its way into the Middle East. I will say this, its based on what happend in 1948. America wants Libia, Afganistan, Iraq and Iran. They will try to control these areas by putting a person from that land in power but America will have true power. You know a puppet! Who ever controls the land controls the resources. I heard one of the leaders from Isreal say that the oil over there belongs to the world. I thought to myself how crazy does this sound but these kind of statements will go unchallenged by most people.

I would hate it if someone generalized a belief of Tom Dashell's for all of America. So just because one Isreali says the oil belongs to the world doesn't mean shit.

Just a thought:
If these countries were free, and individuals could own the mineral rights to 'their' land and make profit off the oil. The only way America is benefiting is they don't get black balled as bad when the countries don't agree politically. The ones benefiting the most would be the citizens of the countries.
