From what I understand, Christians recite before prayer "In the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit" (sorry if I made a mistake some where)......Muslims on the other hand recite "In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful"......This is the main concept which seperates Islam and Christianity......In Islam, we believe God created Jesus with the holy spirit within him, and we do believe Jesus gave sight to the blind, and rose a man from the dead, and turned clay from his hands into a live bird and so on......but here is the difference between Islam and Christianity......we do not use the name of Jesus or even the Prophet Mohamed when reciting for prayer.....we only call out to God, and no one or nothing else, as God is the Almighty........But I can talk about this sector of religion forever, and I can get very descriptive, but as you know like I do, it could go on forever.....Originally posted by 3Vandoo

something that really tickle me in christianity, is that the ten commandments say you shall not idolatre me, and go in a church and what you see???!!!
also the prayers to all the saints, mary, joseph, and so on..... feel like they are deities.
also in Islam there two thoughts about Jesus, one is similar to christians...three doodoo is back! Hide your women!Comment

all religions suck ass... they should fking abolish them... all of them...
all it's been used now for is to brainwash ppl, and control them... it makes me sick to see what 'religions' have turned into... a tool used to control the minds of the ppl...
kind of like the sport teams etc...Comment

I just finished reading abook that helped me understand Jihad a little bit better. It is about an American Muslim that went to Kosovo, Chechnya, Bosnia, etc. to make Jihad. He was fighting solely for the Muslims being murdered simply because they were Muslim. It's called "My Jihad" and helped me understand Jihad a bit better. Granted, there was much about Islam he did not know and therefor did not follow. But when it came ot Jihad, he stuck to the "rules". And when some extremist groups he was fighting with, started ignoring the laws of Jihad, he took different actions. It's by Aukai Collins if anyone is interested in it.

Nothing out of the ordinary.....We believe that those who remain steadfast in their prayers, fast during ramadan, are active in Charity, refrain from things such as alcohol and Pre-marrital sex, believe in the Prophet Mohamed (And all the other prophets, Moses, Abraham, Jesus, etc....) , and join NO other gods with God, meaning, give NOTHING in this life an authority as high as God's, or in other words join NO partners with God........those are the ones who are considered the best of Muslims......of course many muslims have weaknesses such as sex or alcohol, so a truly good Muslim is one who tries to abide by all that I have stated above.......And for those who die good, their afterlife is Paradise, no different than what Chrisitians believe.....Islam and Chrisitianity are alike in many, many factors, but differ in one main factor, which seperates the 2 religions greatly.....
