Osama declared war on us in 96-97, he was even nice enough to write us a letter telling us that.

All's I know is they have to tried, and leave it up to the gubment to do it, just do it, i don't know enough about the legal aspects to know what is right or wrong.

Klash, good point on Beck, he does seem to be on a journey himself, again whereas I'm not a huge fan, he does get cred for trying to educate himself.

i personaly think they were acts of terrorism. i have a hard time believing that they represented a country that can declair war!! if they do represent a country, what country is that? we should bomb them.
being an act of terror, they are criminals and should be tried in a court of law. i would love nothing better for them to be tried in militery courts, but i dont think they are part of any military. now...i just hope they convic them and sentance them to prison...then...maybe some patriotic scumbag will shank them

They had already asked to plead guilty in a military court martial and requested the death penalty. But now it will be a circus. The reason they should have been tried in military court is because it was an attack on our country which makes it a war crime.

ok then...when they wanted to plead guilty and get the death penalty, someone should have just put a bullet in their head, nice and quiet like, and threw them in a hole with no fan fair and no way for their people back home to celebrate them as myters. i understand what your saying about them attacking us, i just didnt know we could declair was on an idealism like terrorism. i always figured too delcre war there had to be an opposing countries military involved. i really dont know thou.

The US hasn't declared war since December 1941. Everything after that has been illegal as far as war goes. Only the US Congress has the authority to declare war, not the president.

This will be a circus and as far as i;m concerned makes this scum bag blojama look even worse then he's already doing. Have ya seen his approval rating lately. It keeps going down and after tonights speech it will go lower. They finaly compared him to jimmy carter last night and those who know my poitical posts know ive been saying that all along

No, the only reason it is going to a civilian court is because the Attorney General Eric Holder is a leftist who hates the Bush Admin. This trial is their door to open up all of the CIA so called torture techniques and smear Dick Cheney and Bush. Trust me, this is the only reason!!!
