    Re: Wheel guns

Rigs vary and how your built affects them too.
I find that using one carry for all weapons helps the draw be more instinctive.
I dont like crossdraw carry except in a vehicle and strong side is always....awkward for me.
I carry small of the back inside the waistband of whatever pants I have on. Maybe a little to right hand side of center.

The least line of sweep possible is good too. Crossdraw shoulder rig offers pleanty of muzzle sweep.

I'll get the weight on it as soon as I get a chance- its really not bad. I carry on my waist clipped on my pants, but it almost feels just as good just shoved inside my pants w/out a holster believe it or not

          Re: Wheel guns

I cant find the kind of clip I have on my Glock 45 for the Para Ordinance LDA.
Like you say its ok just inside the waistband.
The clip holds it in place and I'm used to that.
I always feel a bit uneasy with that LDA just stuck in there though.

Glock looks ok with the clip, but I think the LDA is too pretty to put a damn clip on.

I checked out the KT 32 and P3AT on Keltec's site.
Those clips are sweet for them.
Have you seen the linited edition Freedom piece from KelTec? In honor of our 2nd amendment. It's sweet. It's their .380 with clip. The slide is listed as chrome, but it looks like it's black chrome, which would be sweet. It has a Crimson Trace Laser that is narrower than the frame so you wouldn't even know it's their. Their onmly producing 5000. They'll be numbered (1 of 5000 etc...) w/certifcate.

                    Re: Wheel guns

pretty cool bike. Doesn't it have a 1340cc(Hayabusa motor)?

                    Here's my scooter:

I'm all on guns right now, and probably will be for the rest of my days. I love collecting, shooting, cleaning, holding, looking at, completeing with, and whatever else you can do with guns too.
I'm all about my bikes as well. I would have more done to my R6 by now, but I haven't been able to take it to the track, so, it's fine for the street and my little track spot.

I doubt I'd throw down $600 for that .380. though I really dig the hell out of it. I would love to have that thing. I love the inscription. That says it all right there. Shouldn't need anything but that reminder to have that thing on your person. I like it. Alot. But, I can't place my order right now. I could proabaly snag one for about $100 less than that from my favorite gun dealer.

I had a Dan Wesson 357 with an 8" barrel back in the day, nice accurate pistol nothing to jam or break and you never left spent brass.

I bet that thing was accurate. That's a keeper.

The wheel can jam up on a wheel gun that takes a gun smith more than just a slide rack to fix. The wheel in revolvers can get knocked off time, or calibration per turn, as well. They can leave you completely defensless.
There was a guy getting his revolver fixed in the gun shop just a couple weeks ago. The rotation was off. Very bad thing, he said. I mentioned the same thing you said about revolvers. He was an older fellow, and his reply was, "no, not quite." He told me he had a wheel lock up on one before as well. But, they're machines. machines do break-down.

and I take a few minutes to pick-up my spent casing.
