      Re: 709 or G26...

      Do you carry everyday?
Whats the heaviest weapon you are willing to carry everyday?
Can you conceal it (thats the law here...around vehicles and other heavy cover I do prefer a larger than 32 cal option and have the glock 357 sig caliber as my truck gun)

Answer these questions to find that perfect carry definition for you and your needs.
Winter I carry my glock 36 under a jacket...note the same type clip for small of the back carry.
Muscle memory is the same for draw and presentation for both weapons.
I find that ankle or cross draw set ups are limiting in most walk around applications.
      To each his own...

you'll note that I like the clip attached directly to the frame no holster much to speak of... that Glock 36 in 45 cal has a Hogue sleeve on it that I love. The Glock 357 sig has the same sleeve and is almost identical in size and weight.

Nope... but its a left hand clip set up
figure the inside the pants with the clip only showing.
Small of the back with the rig almost verticle.
Damn near invisible and still instantly available...
handle is closer to your reaching hand this way.
cuts out about a half second on presentation

              Re: 709 or G26...

So you reach by sliding your fingers between your back and grip, instead of around the outside of the grip.
I have thought about going with that same set-up.
People that don't workout can reach 6 o'clock easier, but by doing it your way, it makes it easier to grab. You don't have to twist your shoulder out trying to draw.

exactly. I use the same set up on all my carry guns. that way muscle memory is the same for all. The little 32 is almost completely under the waistband. I lean forward just a tad as I slip the hand down and around the grip. KInda puts you on the balls of your feet and ready to move quick. Summer time is the hardest time for me to conceal beacuse it gets hot and my clothes come off. well almost. A looses shirt over a t-shirt is all I need to hide that Glock 45.
Or just leave a little t-shirt untucked to cover that Keltec 32 up with.

                Good to go...

pretty coincidental that you carry like that because, like i said, I've been thinking about doing that instead of 2 or 3 o'colck. 6 o'clock kills the shoulder, but your way, I was thinking, would be fine. I'm glad to hear you're satisfied with that carry position. Hell, it's good to actually know of someone that carries & draws that way. So, it's a go. I just need the more compact piece.
I told the wife about the AK, and she kinda put a hold on my gun spree for the moment. I can't say much because she never says a word about my hobbies, and all that comes with them. so...I will take heed to her wishes for the moment, but I must have the Kalash off layaway before mid-Jan. I'm trying to think of a way to squeeze a new CC gun in soon. somehow...The compact pistol is easier to justify, and on the bank account. She looks at the AK as another "just for fun" gun. which, she's pretty much on point.

EVERLAST WHERE DO YOU GET THE CLIPS LIKE THAT? IS THAT THE COMPACT LIKE A GLOCK 19 OR 23? OR THE SUBCOMPACT?

Its a 45. model 36 sub compact. clip is aftermarket for the model from glockworx I think its been 8 years since I got it and a 2 pound trigger for it. I put a light trigger on everything.
hey HP get that little model 32 Keltec for about 300.00 with the extended magazine and carry clip.
Best money I ever spent. Its a damn fine shooter too.
I use empty cigarette packs at 3 long paces. put 2-3 up on a backstop for multiple target drillls
and then shoot from a draw position...

yes sir E, you're right. When I really think about it. The more compact, the better for me, because here in FL. Even throughout winter. Almost everyday you end up in a t-shirt. I'm not big on wearing an under-shirt/(2) shirts. Doubling up ain't so bad in the winter. i usually wear tank-tops for under shirts, if I wear one, that is. But with more gun, ya almost gotta wear 2 shirts to conceal better. Probably don't even have to with one of the small kel-tecs.
It would be a perfect piece to get the wife aquainted to also.

I can tell that mag-extension is made by Kel-tec, correct?
Does the mag extension offer more capacity?

Oh yeah... its a beauty and feels and feeds like a champ. I LOVE my little Keltec. Stick in the waistband of your shorts and then just untuck a handful of shirttail. Not too much or it gets in the way of your draw. Lean forward when you reach back and it helps get the slack out and makes the slide down your back for the handle easier too.
I can put 2 in a cigarette pack real quick from a draw (like 2 seconds) from 3 big steps away. Further than that and its a little harder to aim (no real sights)

It doesnt have any horns or sharp spots and thats a big plus when carrying next to my delicate butt. So all in all a 9 out of 10 when paired with the Federal Hydro shok rounds.

Last I bought was 13.99/20 rounds of Federal Hydro Shok jacketed hollow points...65 grain.
Probably add 3-5 bucks for Obama.

These are supposed to hit like a .380 at least, maybe even a .38
but that aint saying much unless its in their eye.

$13.99 for Hydra Shoks. So, I'm guessing they're running around that for (100) FMJ? $15-$20 for (100)FMJ/target ammo.
                                $7-$10 for 50??? FMJ???
