come on loco...youre ex military right? you of all people should know that by airing the proof of saddam-al quada link would compromise the inteligance source which is a big no no in international affairs. the bush administation obviously knows much more than what they are letting on considering we are almost sure that saddam was taken out of the picture in the first strike. whether or not he is dead is another issue but their command structure was taken out. its obvious we have people on the inside in iraq who hate saddam as much as we do and the government has no obligation to let the world know what it knows - world public opinion be damned. we are not blindly invading iraq, the CIA has been working behind the scenes for years. and if it was canada who was attacked on 9/11 and if canada was now taking out saddam i would be all for it and show support for you guys. i dont care what you say, the americans and canadians are the same people, the only thing seperating us is a border. the people that settled our countries are the same people with the same ideals who in general wanted a fresh start outside of europe. we're neighbors who have always supported each other so why should we stop now?

cuz we dont know for sure and neither does the iraqi army. the iraqi will continue to fight as long as there is a chance that saddam is still alive cuz they are more afraid of him than they are of us. we are trying to bomb them into submission bytaking out the top guys- republican guard, special republican guard, the guys who would fight on and stay loyal regardless of whether or not saddam is dead and their cause is lost. kind of like the SS in WWII. if you hate war so much, which i understand cuz you say youve seen it first hand, why would you be the first to go if canada fights? its good to talk about this shit as long as we stay mature about it and not hit below the belt
