your right bro, a person has to be nuts to be a non-combatant and put themselves into those situations. my non journalism friends and family tell me that all the time but they dont call me a moron or stupid. straight up im just an adrenelin junky. i hope you understand CJ why your statement offended me, thats what im working my ass off right now to do and my buddy is up north with the kurds covering as we post. i dont hate you for it bro, ypou stated your opinion and i stated mine and we all know everyone has one

          go to goarmy.com

and suggest real live feed with webcam,
that would be a good recruiting tool or not.

I realize they are doing us a service, but surely you can see the idiocy of putting yourself in a city that is going to besieged by the US/UK military and also is going to be the target of 100s of cruise missles and aerial raids.

My brother is part of the group conducting the raids, and i just don't see why you'd want to huddle yourself in a hotel in bagdad ... one of the biggest possible buildings in the area.

And i don't see the purpose of putting yourself in harms way for simply news. I can understand being a soldier and being put in battle for a purpose, but journalists that are in bagdad are more like extreme sports figures. They're doing it for personal thrill more than anything, and if anything happens to them, that's their fault, nothing more ...

youre right about the personal thrill CJ thats whats its about, at least the honest journalists will tell you that and if i die or get or get injured doing it it will be nobodies fault but mine and i wont blame the country thats dropping the bombs and any self respecting journalist will say the same and take the blame for their own mishap.

BLM9376- beleive me bro, id much rather be in combat with gun and fighting for my country but ive tried numerous times to enlist in marines, army, and navy but have been turned away every time because of criminal record (rec drugs). it is a thrill thing cuz when i hear gunshot or see fight or whatever im drawn towards it to see whats happening instead of going other way like most people would. its even perverted in a way to be drawn towards death and pain like that but what can i say? im not going to get a lobotomy lol. im kind of getting in where i can cuz i cant get in to situations like that through being a soldier. i could always join the french foreign legion and be a merc but then id be a traitor to my country. and no im not anti french one bit, i love the french despite our disagreements on world issues, i just wont fight for any country other than the US. OH YEAH, thnks for the respect statement bro.

yup, i got a class B felony for sales and class D for second DUI, plus thats not even mentioning all the petty shit thats not felony crap. i know a guy who was in air force with class D felony but it was theft charge. our government doesnt look kindly on drug charges, i cant even get federal financial aid because of conviction. there is question os FAFSA form about drug possesion and sales charge and if youre honest and answer yes youre screwd. of course you dont have to be honest cuz they dont have time to do background checks on every applicant cuz theres millions of us applying, you can get in big trouble though if youre caught. they charge you with fraud or something. if you know any recruiters who'll look the other way hook it up bro, but wouldnt they eventually find out if i went up for promotion or needed a security clearence?

When I was talking with the Marines, they asked me if I have ever did drugs. I said yeah they went through this list of drugs - they didn't care about any of it till they came to LSD, I answered yes and they said "they would have to check back with me in a year just to make sure I was sane" they never did.
