  • Saiga 12ga

It originates from the Izhmash factory in Russia.
Pretty cool 12ga. Based on the Kalashnikov(AK) rifle design.

What do you think about it?
of course we're not talking dove shoot, or any hunting...well...game hunting trip, but with a 12 round box mag, or 20 round drum...it's a hell of a home defense weapon.

My, (yes, I refer to it as my gun shop now). But my LGS has one for right at $600, give or take.
I actually would be purchasing something else for that before another shotgun.

...There are several things I gotta cross off the list before I'd even think about it.

$600.00 is a good price. I've been think of buying one myself. They come in all gauges of shotgun and 223 and 308- just stick with 12/20ga and 223/308- these ammos are readily available

        They had the .308 too.

The thing I didn't like about the .308 was it didn't have the AK style forehand guard. It was the same as the 12ga.

If I get an AK, I want the distinct 2 piece AK forehand. But, for the price these are tagged, I ain't really sweatin thqat because I could replace it.

i shot my bros. those things are sweet. he also bought the .410 and there was almost no kick.

its one heavy beast with the clip in it and i reccomoend not shooting high brass shells or it kicks pretty good. regular high velocity low brass skeet loads work great.

i shot 2 boxes of it and had a freakin blast.]

i want one so bad but the wife wont let me buy another after my last purchase

Yeah- you can buy the drum mag for them that hold a ton of rounds. I like the 410, but if you price ammo- you can shoot 20 or 12 much cheaper and in these times- price and availablity are everything

                +1 to that^

Availability and cost are among the top of the priority list during these crazy times.
