  • My hips and my bike

As I told ya guiys before when I ride my hips are so bad that they would cramp up and burn and sometimes I would have to get off the bike and rest and stretch. Well I was leaving the gym and I had a towel and my wife had a towel so I folded those small towels and placed in on the seat and rode around and it was better. I added 1 more towel and all my hip problems are gone. raising 3 inches or so made all this pain and agony go away. Now my mirrors are off a little but I dont give a shit . I'm either goign to add more padding to the seat or get some kind of gel to put on top of the seat and strap it on. If anyone has any ideas post them up. Its to bad that its getting cooler out and riding will soon end

This is way off topic but your title caught my eye. A couple of my friends were ridin over to my house a couple of weeks ago and some jackass ran a stop sign. One managed to get around the van but the other hit the drivers side door and broke his hip. He actually crushed the socket and had to have surgery to get a plate put in. He's gonna have permanent nerve damage but it could have been a hell of a lot worse. He's still lookin at 10 weeks before he can bear weight though.

wow that sucks kite. fuzo sounds like it's the position that is making the hip hurt. Maybe you need to switch over to a bike that has not so much of a crunched hip position. also i think you can get extra padded seats that should be enough to raise you up a inch or so.

Fuzo, I was going to suggest you try this,(with the towels) but assumed you already had!! LOL Hip positioning is vital, and will cause all the issues you were having, including back pain, if not correctly alined!

Have you looked into a good Corbin seat yet?
You know you can get them all custom stitched, with different leathers. You can get tan leather so it doesn't get hot. You can get ostrich, so it's super soft. I think. I beleieve you can go all custom with Corbin. They'll definitely make cruising more comfy.

lol...aw man...yeah, the ole sportbike pad isn't meant to actually seat an ass for too long. Just down the backstretch
A Corbin on a sportbike. I bet the most are sold for gixxers.lol...nah, Those are some comfy seats. very nice.

I'm probably riding to the farm this weekend, which is about 45minutes (by car) from here. I'll be wishing i had a Corbin. I figure the trip will go a little quicker on the bikes though, and I'll just do some long stand-ups to relieve the ars.

Corbin. as fine as it gets for the sittin muscle. Your behind will thank you.
