tell when someone's lieing

One of the tell-tale signs that someone is lieing to you is they will clear their throat before, and during, the lie. You can really tell because it's clear that they're not really needing to clear their throat at all. They just "uh-um"...a few times throughout the lie.

Not only does listening to bullshit nerve the hell out of me, but this fake, nervous clearing of the throat repeatedly just pisses me off more.

They will also look up and to your left.
Accessing the creative part of the brain...not the memory centers for recalling actual events. Vocal constriction also can occur so if you know the persons normal speaking voice you can catch them pretty easily using these "tells"

EL, interstesting "up and to the left" as a tell tale sign of lieing.

what i do is ask the same the same question at the start of the conversation as well as at the end. Even when just a few minutes of time has passed, their response will change.
