i don't think so. It's what they are attracted to. Like some dudes like fat chicks, or some guys prefer butts to boobs. These sick individuals are attracted to the kids.

With that being said I think we should use any means necessary to keep our kids safe.

Can you be cured from being attracted to your wife? There's no cure for some illnessses.
Just as Scalleywag said. Some of these sickos are attracted to children, as normal people are attracted to the opposite sex. It's uncurable. Castration, even though I like that better than most states just putting these sick f$#@s on probation to ruin or kill, another life, it's still not enough. These sick f%$#s need certain death, without a day's delay, at first learning of their mental sickness. There is no cure. They're just a fuked up unit. Nothing more to worry about. just put 'em down.

While fixing that broken part of justice, they should also fix the part where perfectly normal people get tagged with that life-long "sex-offender" sign. For instance, the 19 year old guy that gets charged as a sexual predator because his 17year old girlfriend's parents gets pissed. That's bullshyt, and should be fixed. There's no distinction made between the normal 19yr old, and the sick 50yr old pedophile when listed as sexual preditors. The 19yr old, like in my example, should never be categorized as a sexual predator to begin with.

There is pretty solid evidence for recidivism (repeat offences) among sex offenders. They are "hardwired".
Castration means they will be frustrated and perhaps use symbolic or "other" means for gratification of their urges. (shudder...)
I would step over a copperhead in the forest. All Gods creatures have a function on earth in nature. I would kill that same snake in my yard where my kids play.

castrate them if we cant execute them. throw them in a cage and throw away the key. slide some mush thru the bars in the cage to let them eat. clean the shit and urine off of them with a power washer. let the victims come and visit and spit on them

I honestly doubt a person can be healed of their desire of pedophilia or necrophilia. That's a sick desire or fetish, whatever you may care to call it. Oddly, most sexual behaviors are incurable because it's more psychological than just physical.
