    OK....so I put it in the microwave or about 3 seconds. That did the trick! It did something to the phones ability to get a signal. So now I have the new BB Tour. It's a lot like the 8830 I had which was a great phone.

    Long story short...if you need to break your phone...microwave it!

        I sweat alot, especially at work while working in 105 degree heat. I've gone through a couple of Motorolas and Samsung phones simply by talking on them while my face was sweaty. Apparently, the sweat would seep into the keypad and screw it all up. I can't see how they can create a phone that's no bigger than a credit card but they can waterproof the keys.
