in the middle of the night?
I've been doing this for years now. I wake up anywhere between 11pm and 2am hungry as hell. Sometimes I just want some good left overs, or something out of the pantry, sometimes I'm craving sweets. and I'm legitmately hungry. It's not just a mental thing. My stomach is actually growling to the point I can't just roll over and go back to sleep.
I'm glad I like protein shakes like I do or I would eat every bucket of cotton candy we get, marshmellow cream, whatever when I'm craving sweets. I can't lie. I will grab a handfull of cotton candy sometimes. I've quit getting it for my daughter because of that. She doesn't hardly eat any, so there's a whole bucket staring at me. Again though, Muscle Milk takes care of the sweet tooth thankfully.
You'd think I went to bed hungry, by the way I tear it up mid-night. Not by any means though. I even make sure to top off before I get in bed.
I guess if I didn't need it, I wouldn't wake up hungry.
