    Driving the nail in the coffin; Gov't insurance would allow coverage for abortion

    This should put a fire under any conservatives that aren't already fired up. The one time I'm glad to be aligned with pro-lifers.

    WASHINGTON (AP) - Health care legislation before Congress would allow a new government-sponsored insurance plan to cover abortions, a decision that would affect millions of women and recast federal policy on the divisive issue.

    Of course the Dems could pass this by themselves but I don't think they have the balls.

      I don't see this moving forward to quick- to many loopholes and unanswered questions and they are starting to shift so they can be re-elected

        i'm a pro-choicer, but i dont believe this procedure should be covered!
        WAIT!!!...i dont believe in gov. healthcare AT ALL, but i dont think this should be covered EITHER. (whew...i could see someone was gonna sneak up and hit me over the head for supporting that dumass bill...had to clear that up quick!!)

          ^lol...yeah, that whole pro life, pro-choice thing is a tough one for me. But this whole gov-healthcare bs is no more than that. I hope. cause fuk...we'd be fuked.
          Let me pay almost $600 a month for BC/BS. Let me never see a government doctor. and they need to stop fukin with people on the whole thing because no-one's went without when they need health care. pshhyt...government healthcare. Then we'll see some folks going without. Man that'd be the biggest mistake.

            There are actualy 5 different healthcare bills floating around out there. No one knows what any of them contain hidden deep in them. o one has even bothered to read any of them. They are over 1000 pages.
            Push it, Pull it, Rack it. Repeat untill wide!!
