    yup gear and all.. you learn tricks like soakin a sock and puttin it over a water bottle and 30 min later its ice cold due to condensation.. and we didnt train from 9 am till 3pm due to the heat we just made make shift hooches and laid under them for shade and drank water.... but at nite , here is the kicker. it dropped to 50 degrees.. i aint never seen anything like it..

          When i was in the Gulf War it got up to 122.................I was hating life,the humidity was unbearable, it wasn't even that bad when i was in the jungle training in Panama.

              100+ on a few hot days 2 years ago here.

              ABout 5 years ago when we were re-shingling a roof, I put a thermometer on the roof. And these were white shingles, not black. The thermo went to 140, it buried way passed that. I'd guess the surface temp was close to 180-200. I have seen guys cook on egg on a framing square on a hot roof.

                  108 in Vegas. It didn't feel as hot as when it was 102 in NY one summer. That was brutal. The air was thick.

                    we went to visit my wifes mom on long island in the summer of 97 (maybe 96?), it was hotter than hell!!! and wqe was up from florida!! the power kept going out....man it suked. i think i remember then that it was up over 100....

                      could someone please elaborate what it is like in iraq? I heard it is ungodly hot there. Is that true? Like 120 degrees everyday? seriously, I want to know. Thanks.

                        about 3 years ago it was 100.... and about 115-120 in the cab of the dozer i was running.

                        no shade. in the middle of a coal black silt dam. we were working 12 hours a day.
