Houdini the dog strikes again.

In two weeks, he has broken out of 3 windows to get out of the house when I leave for work.. Thursday we worked 8 hours putting up 6 foot utility fence to contain him..
Well, I had started getting him used to the crate, feeeling like it was the last resort. Two days in the crate and he was excellent. Day three and I walked in and this is what I found. Also, he was gone. The six foot fence was no match for this determined dog named Bruno. I found him down the road hanging out with some other dog...Just as happy as could be. I mean, what dog chews out of a crate????LOL

Go pick up a real crate, as in what's used for "crate training", from Wal-Mart, Petsmart, wherever you can find the biggest one for least expensive. The biggest one is $70 at Wal-Mart. It's a steel cage with black finish. I'm not sure if it's powder coat or what, but it holds up. There's no chewing through an actual steel crate.
That plastic carrier is only good for transporting Dogs like Bruno.
He'll like the steel cage better too, because he won't be so closed in. Once dogs are crate trained, they love their crate.

yea get a steel cage thats what i have for my puppy rot he is 8 months and weighs 90lbs and cant get out of the cage
