My gram passed from thuis life at 8:53 this evening. I've been at the hospital round the clock since thursday afternoon. She was getting morphine and ativan every two hours the last day today. She was hanging on waiting. My son finally was able to come in and say goodbye to her yesterday and after a day of being totally unrespnsive she batted her eyes and smiled. i told her this afternoon that it was okay for her to go, we would be okay here and that my grandfather was waiting for her and after 19 years they had waited long enough to be together again. The staff at the hospital was so amazing to her and our family during this time. Rest in peace Oba-chan, i love you.
