no, not that kind. The sod guys finally showed up today! Our front yard is nice and healthy. I gotta cut it at least once a week. That St Augustine grows lush and fast. The backyard has needed it since we moved in. The deal was made about a month ago, and they're finally here.
We're getting a couple of trees taken out too!
Soon, or later, probably later, lol, I can run the fence how i want it.
Keep it watered!!! I added some sod to my yard a couple of months ago. I watered it and it got nice and thick and green...then the heat and no rain came! My grass turned brown and I have been having to water it by hand the last few days to get it back. Basically the new sod's roots had not taken well enough to withstand the heat yet.
With that being said, sod is the only way to go IMO. Overall it will cost less and and is instantly there.....my whole yard will be sod by next year. I have a big yard!

yeah, It's gotta be watered in good, but once it takes root, it's there and strong.
I'm with ya. It's the only way to go imo too.
It's tough. You can always spread & water in some Scotts Weed & Feed and it'll love it.

LMAO~!! ok what a post title~!! LOL I am waiting for some sod for my yard as well, its suppose to be here the beginning of next week. I have a bunch of places where the grass just didn't come back after my winter grass I planted died. Not really sure why though, Its almost like its choking itself, I water the heck out of it and yet it continues to be dry and look that way. Hope my new stuff doesn't do that!
