Re: mike jackson ...
He's not that old is he?
People that have "had it all" their whole life don't know what the hell to do when everything goes south.
There are lots of stuff out there that can bring one down to respiratory, or cardiac arrest, but maybe it wasn't intentional.
Maybe he'll pull through.

Shocked. This is the first word of this Ive heard. I remember exactly wghere I was that august day when elvis presley died. I was sittin in a life guard tower. Now Im going to remember that I learned about Michael Jackson dying on FG. What a freaky day in history. speechless. Possibly the greatest pop star in history, at least our lifetimes.

Definitely a huge loss to the music industry. Love him or hate him, he was an ico, and loved by millions!“I don't look ahead... I keep focused on my next opponent. I am looking forward to my next opponent, I don't think past that point.”

Re: mike jackson ...
No doubt. Farrah will be immortalized for her grace and considerateness during the last days of her life. She was an American Icon. Legendary...In her day, there was Farrah Fawcett, then everyone else. At the peak of her career, nobody could hold a candle to her.
MJ, well, no doubt was probably the biggest Pop star of our time. definitely his weirdness did not endear him to people. But he was loved for his talent and his soft personality. The allegations of boy slumber parties with pornography and wine will leave him tarnished. Do you think he Was he a pedophile?

Re: mike jackson ...
I have to disagree with the Farrah Fawcett vs. Micheal Jackson matter. Although I wasn't a huge fan of either, we must admit MJ was truly a musical genius. I remember back in 1982 when he came out with the "Thriller" video, I turned to my then girlfriend, who was always a huge fan of his, and told her, "he might as well enjoy this now because he will never ever make another album or video as good as Thriller."
As for Farrah Fawcett, I hate to be the hate monger here but as the Bible says, "You reap what you sew." Back in the 70's, Farrah Fawcett was married to Lee Majors ("Six Million Dollar Man"). While he was away taping his show, his so-called friend, Ryan O'Neal, kept an eye on Farrah and in the process, began an affair with her. She then divorced Lee Majors to be with O'Neal, who has never married her to this day. She became famous for her co-star roll on "Charlie's Angels" but quit after only a year. She felt that she was the major star of the show and deserved a bigger paycheck than the others. When she threatened to quit the show, they had no problem holding the door open for her as she left. After that, her career never really took off again. Ironically, another beautiful model replaced her and became just as famous. Her name was Cheryl Ladd and the show lasted for nearly a decade since Farrah left.
