This is what happens when you try a different foot position on leg press without success. tried a different foot position to work a different area of the quad. Well it didn't work lto good. Tore the muscle, not completely through. Looks worse than is was.

LOL...ohhh fuk!..sorry for laughing, youre going to be fine... but I had the same shit happen to me once. It looked just exactly like that but it was inside my leg and all the way up my groin into my abs. Literally I had so much blood pooling that my weiner and nuts were completely dark purple. Not much you can do except load up on fish oil capsules, turmeric, maybe get on high doses of wobenzyme. Stop all NSAIDS at day 3 or it will heal much slower. Im guessing you were going with a way wide stance, is that what happened?
Mine happened doing light warmup squats and went pop and bout droped me to the floor. Went to the ER that night because i couldnt move my leg at all...took me out about a month for lower body. Have had that same hideous bruise like you have many times from hamstring pulls sprinting

Had opened my stance about another 6 inches and slightly rotated my heels out.
Had just finnished a set of 15 reps at 1100 lbs with no problem. Had only lowered it about 1-1 1/2 feet when I felt it start. Just let it come on down to the safeties.
Healing nicely, but taking my time about doing leg presses for a few weeks.
Never went to the Doctor to be checked out. I know what he would have said and realy didn't want to hear to stop lifting for a few weeks.Push it, Pull it, Rack it. Repeat untill wide!!
