    Re: 1998 281 cobra saleen

pretty car, the suspension setups on those are well suited for auto X events, saw one do a time attack and it it beat out a porche GT3 which is a helluva feat. i tried it in my car even with track tires i did terrible with my stock suspension and too much torque

i want a 90s fox body to trick out just for auto cross.

sweet? The Vortec must be a bolt on by a previous owner before. Great bolt on, and obviously done by someone that knows modular motors. You can't just shadetree supercharge a mod like you could a push rod 5.0. Allot of holes in the blocks of 281ci blocks from 96+. I put my fist through (just showing a friend the size of the hole) of a 99 Cobra motor that was done by a performance shop. The guy couldn't wait for Panhandle Performances' 6month waiting list, so he ended up waiting anyway, and having to pay for more work. That's where the motor was, Panhandle, when I saw it.
My friend counted 13 modular engines on the floor at True Blue Performance in North Carolina back in 2002. They're another 1 of 4 or 5 in the nation that have any business turning wrenches on modular motors. At least, when you're talking blowers and shyt.

Sounds like a sweet ass ride though!

that must have a built bottom end. i didnt think the stock rods and pistons could handle that much boost.

          that is even sweeter!!!!!!!

460hp that is a viper killer
