yep, gotcha. You do gotta eye that one.

That black plastic piece for your thigh, under the tank, has an indention on the 2CO ('06-07) that's not on the later models also.

unfortunately i am obsessive compulsive about things like that and about scratches and dings. I know where every scratch nick and piece of dirt is at on my bike. I hate it because u can never keep anything perfect

yeah man, I'm with ya...to some degree I guess. I'm pretty picky on the dirt and grime myself. I got caught in a downpour the other day. Second one in about 2 weeks, so I've had to get in the crevasses and all. I don't wash mine with a hose, but I have to re-wet some areas when it gets that bad all up underneath and all.

          You geared yours down yet?

A friend of mine just got an '08 ZX-6, and he says it has no bottom end either. I probably would go -1/+2 thinking about it now. Who needs to go 170 anyway. I never hit top speed.

Not a bad idea. The front will make a big change. But remembering how I felt on my '07 how my friend was talking about his ZX-6 made me think.

We're gonna go riding this weekend, and i wanna see how that ZX acts. He wanted an R6, but of course, he got the ZX for almost 2grand less. When I road to his work the other day, the other guys at the shop got around my bike, and Ben, my British buddy, was pointing out all the things he likes better about the Yami. I just wanna swap up and feel the difference. Mine not having a catalytic makes a huge difference in torque feel, and throttle response. That's another something huge that'll help out that low end on yours. Chunk that damn cat. Even if you can't go full exhaust, just get the mid-pipe swap. It's so worth it. It does allot more than a slip on. My bike is louder/more opened up, than a bike with a cat and aftermarket slip on. I know, cause I've put the most open slip-on you can behind a catalytic. It's a waste of money unless you get rid of the cat.

I was going to post pics of mine - -- but it fell over today in the parking lot! LOL!!

So now I have to take pictures of the right side so no one sees the scratches!

No real damage but some scratched paint on the lower fairing, some little ball shaped thing broke of the left peg - dont' really know what it's there for anyway and I'm making new pegs so big whoop. and the mirror got a tiny little scratch - a black sharpie will take care fo that.
Oh and the clutch lever got bent a littel - but it's more comfortable now!

perfect. Ya just drill a hole, and weld the right size nut where it needs to be. You're gonna have to weld a little extension off to fit one of the catalytic hangers, correct? The right side is the one you want to attach to.
