Re: Should you buy a car or truck from a closing dealership?
i dont see why not....you can service it at any manufacture dealership. a discontinued model, like the pontiac's? thats different. dont buy one of these unless your the type of person that drives something until the wheels fall off. the depreciation of this unit will never allow you to trade it in....unless you put stupid money down. on the plus side...wait until the plug is about to be pulled and buy yourself a g8....one of the best cars you'd ever buy for the money!!!!HE WHO MAKES A BEAST OF HIMSELF, GET'S RID OF THE PAIN OF BEING A MAN!!

I don't think I've ever taken a vehicle that I've bought from a dealership back to that same dealership for servicing. But, The dealerships that I went to were at least for that make. another [but], but, as Dave said, any dealership can service any make. And there will be parts even for the discontinued models for years after. I'll be the opposite and say why not even on po ole pontiac. But only if it's for a short run. That is gotta be true about trade going to shyt on any discontinued model though. So you're eating shyt if you purchase one of those. Just stick with the best. We all pump blue through our viens.
