I guess we have the shelters to go check around tomorrow. As most of you might remember, we have been wanting to get another dog, and had narrowed it down to a German Shepherd. When I mentioned "the shelters" the other night, the wife reminded me that she thought we were getting a shepherd, and I do want one too. I grew up with them. They're great dogs. And hey, Sal, your story is perfect example of how you can get a full breed from the shelter too.

I just want a solid black, or white, black & silver(product of 1 black/1white parent). I've never had the original black and gold shepherd. They remind me of cop dogs, which there's nothing wrong with that, but I like the more unique shepherds. Solid Black is awesome. I've had 2 of those. First dog I can remember in life. Spade. He was great. What shepherd isn't though.

But who knows. By going to the shelter, maybe we'll bring home a surprise. That is if we even bring home anybody.

Shepherds are GREAT DOGS!
My cousin had a beautiful all white one and that was one of the most gorgeous dogs I've ever seen.

We do expect pictures when you bring that new member of the family home!

of course. I need to find a pic on this harddrive, our camera, or phone with Gracie in it. My wife dug up a few pictures of the dogs, and I have a great one of her and Cpt Morgan aka Morgy aka poopoo head both holding on to a tennis ball from what had to be 2003. Well, she has it in her mouth, and he's trying to get it from her. It's a great picture. If this pos printer/fax/scanner/rip-off functioned, I would love to post this one of Gracie.
