From watching the previews i thought they made the characters too young. I mean they are suppose to be in command of a star ship but I'm actually surprised by the number of people that have told me it was good. People that have never even watched star trek before. So I'll probably go see it.

I watched Star Trek when I was very young. I guess when it was originally playing. It wasn't long into early grade school that I couldn't handle 5 minutes of it, but I've heard this movie is really good also, and that it's made where you don't even have to have known anything about Star Trek to enjoy it.
