What I like about Beck is that he speaks common sense. Some just dont get it. He used to be an alcoholic so he's hit rock bottom, now he's one of the most successful reporters there is and he never even wanted to be a reporter but it just comes natural!

welp, if he's that smart, too bad they didnt tap him and let him fix it all. i'm sure he would have regulated it better than the bush admin did!!! but, if he would have just let the banks fall and die, then i think he's an idiot too. i agreed they needed propped up, i just didnt think they'd be stupid enough to hand them 100's of billions of dollars with no strings attactched!! i think bushes crew was stupid and obama's is proving to be just as dumb. banks not loaning has been at the heart of this. that and the housing market falling apart. when they gave the money, they (THE BANKS) NEEDED TO PUT IT ON THE STREET!!! not use it to buy each other out!! (didnt mean the caps...finger slipped, lol)

Oh yeah, dzone you ought to check him out. he's probably on a radio station in your area; he started out in radio and is still nationally syndicated. He's not scared to learn and change his positions.
For example, he use to be on the Ron Paul is a loon bandwagon but after Ron Paul predicted our economic fall. Glenn reconsidered his perspective of Paul and his economic theories. He actually said something to the effect that to get out of this position we should be listening to the people and economists that predicted it (and those economists are the ones that subscribe to Austrian economics as does Paul).

The state (the monopoly on force) can not get involved with banking without eventually phucking shit up. The problem never has been the banks and lenders; the problem is this group of phuck wauds (politicians) using government force and essentially holding guns to these guys heads and saying you have to do this with your money; don't worry we'll help with the risk, we can print money (which is another form of force; they can drive down the value of our dollar, that we worked for, by having the monopoly on the rights to print our fiat currency). Government is force and force does not stimulate the economy, the use of it implies that some people are being coerced into doing something with their money that they wouldn't otherwise do.

i would agree with that to the point that many, many moons ago they (the fed) set this in motion with forcing lenders to loan for home purchases...this, i agree with. but, it's been done! bailing them out and NOT regulating, or FORCING them to keep lending options open for consumer goods was fukin stupid bro...you cannot shut off lending!! thats what pushed autosales down FOR ALL MANUFACTURES as well as leading to other problems (circut city, ect)
