I usually stay out of such topics but I hardly think anything that's been done in the past 6 months put hte US in the position we're in now.

I'm not saying anything he's doing is right or wrong - honeslty I don't give a fuk.

But anyone who thinks this just "happened" all of a sudden is blind or just looking for a scapegoat.

HP mentions countries strong arming us - sure. Just like he said and we let it happen for years.
All of this has been happening for years.
It's nothing new. It's not because we have a new president - that doesn't have sh!t to do with it. Not saying he's making it any better either.

Of course we could just take anything we want - right?
OK - and that would make it right HOW????
Should we go in and take over a country because we happen to be dumb enough to be dependent on it?
OK - sure that sounds like a a grand idea - thne how about when that same wonderful goverment who did that on "your behalf" now comes in and says they want your land and your home and you get to live on welfare of the govements deciding.
Give them the idea that they can do what they want elsewhere and it's only a matter fo time before they do waht they want to you. Hell - they already do it and are doing more little by little.

There was a country that tried to be that under the rule of some little guy with a funny mustache too.
It didn't work and it won't long term.

The bottom line is the US has been so F'ing soft and let anyone and everyone take advantage of us it's our own fault not some other country. Maybe if we just quit letting everyone tell US what to do for a while that would start a small amount of change - but that's unlikely because it's not "comfortable" enough for us.

If we really wanted to make a difference we wouldn't be so worried about jack sh!t overseas until we have a chance to straighten things out here.
But then the world economy fails and we don't get a chance to get out 120$ shoes made for $00.75 in the Philippines!!
Oh no - but corporate greed would rather have you think there is more to it.

Sorry to burst the bubble folks but unless something changes on the top of the food chain of the corporations and the greed for more you'll not see anything change for the better.
It's really got very little to do with the puppet you see called Obama.

Though it does take the spot light off the real problem and they love it!
Everyone shouting about the war and how bad Obama is and all this and all that.

Maybe he's right - we are out of money...does it really surprise anyone or does it just suck to hear the president say it for a change?
And as far as his policies go ---- well they may indeed suck as well and take us even further in the hole.

It's like trying to get a Dutch boy who stuck his thumb in a dyke to hold back the waters from something the size of Hoover dam.
