    I love where I live which is right outside of New Orleans. If I had to pick another place, it would be San Antonio....

          ok...i was with ya until you mentioned this little tidbit of information!! kinda makes me nervous that you felt this paticular activity was worthy of mentioning as a good thing or a favorable attribute to a city!! i was already packing and you lost me....dropped the bags right on the floor. it was looking like me and the wife would enjoy ourselves...food, festivals, low crime, then...BAM!!! super gaydom!!! all the fairies in the universe!

                  My brother, sister-in-law, and I visited The Big (ASS) Easy back in 2003 (2 years before Katrina paid a visit) and alot of famous local businesses were gone. In fact, my full time job was diminishing and my part time job went from a large drug store to a very large beauty supply store. In other words, GONE. In 3 days, I was so depressed that I was ready to come back to my current home, Californication.

                    Obviously Vandoo, you have never been to the World Famous French Quarters in New Orleans. That area alone has to be at least 90% Gayville. And the gays must have great jobs because French Quarter apartments go for like $1200/week. That's right, I said WEEK, not month.
