Will this work for a Blackberry Curve Phone?

I can get a good deal on a blackberry curve...but I dont want to pay the monthly note for the internet..and all the extra stuff right now. I just use my phone for texting and calls and the scheduling feature.

Right now my phone is literally falling apart so the lady at Wal Mart suggested to buy the phone and cancel the data plan...Would this actually work? ...seems like you are screwin the system pretty good here so i am a bit skeptical.

it will work but some of those phones use the internet for texting as well. I know the email and all of that won't work but one of my friends had a pearl with no data plan and it worked great for him

Awesome I will be sure to ask if texting will work without the data plan...and make sure they dont try to stick some type of data plan contract on me
