There are many people that don't like golf. I didn't used to like it until I played it and didn't do well. I was an athlete my whole life and thought I could play any sport, until I ran into golf. It was so difficult that I just had to take the time to try and tame it.

I haven't played for a few years now. It seems like there's always something else that needs to be done than just being on a golf course. I did enjoy playing. very challenging

Yeah, haha!! No I am way passed that stage. I shoot in the 70s now with a single digit handicap so I have that part under control. I don't expect as big of things as the pros do so i don't have as much to get mad at....plus I am usually taking money off my buddies and that always makes it easier.

We don't play for big money because some of the guys I play with don't have much money at all. I usually play a dollar a hole with those guys and then I usually have a side bet of 5 or 10 per side with the other guy who shoots pretty close to what I shoot. We have to give the dollar a hole guys strokes because they just started playing last year. We usually come up with some good games so they don't feel left out and so they still feel they can win. Needless to say, I don't lose any "big" money. I am trying to get good enough this year to play in some local tournaments next year.
