ah, you've read yourself on to a choice. You're gonna always have a good, predictable ride in a Suzuki. Great bike. If you like to wheely, who doesn't, but you'll see why the Suzuki is so stunted. Yamaha has the tiniest balance point, and it's straight up. You can walk a gixxer from here to kingdom come. also, your stoppies will become endos.

              did you already get it?

well i cant find a used 06 r6 for under $6k so that was a decididng factor as well. This kinda just fell in my lap. i wasnt really looking for a 600 but its new and has 2k miles on with a pipe and PC. Ill probably ride it for a season or 2 and then get rid of it. its just what i do. I have never owned a gixxer before. I had a ninja, 2 r6's an r1 and a 600rr.

i also like how it has flush mounts stock and a solo seat. oh and im gonna replace those slider with a race cage.

I do love the yamaha's and will always have a place in my heart for the R1 and its lil bro the R6. the are amazing bikes but since 06 the are more geared for the track and im looking for a street bike. I was anit-gsxr until i got on her.
