Well considering he came out late on a Friday afternoon (the end of a news cycle) and said this, the administration is going to see if him admitting responsibility will be enough to alleviate the anger. If everyone is still pissed at the beginning of the news cycle next week; someone head is going to have to roll and I bet he will resign by the end of the week.

There are a few in the government that are starting to call for his resignation. Not a bad idea. Only problem is, the next nominee may be even worse.

True, Geithner hasn't even been able to fill his staff and rumor is noone wants these phucking jobs. This would all be amusing to watch, like a train wreck, if the consequences didn't effect us all.
