    R.I.P. Rocky

    Strange. Walked down the drive to the street this morning to pick up my last Rocky Mountain News in its orange plastic bag, lying on the gravel driveway. 150 Year old newspaper is closing down. Gosh I remember all the years I lived in Texas, I had the Rocky mailed to me every day. I had to have my daily fix of the Rocky Mountain News. Now its gone forever. Sad.

    I guess google and the internet is putting print news out of business. WTF?...Is my Sports Illustrated going down next? Kinda suxcks.
    Good bye RockyMountainNews. It was nice knowing you.

    its a shame to see 150 years drop like that. i heard this morning that newspapers will start charging you to read them on-line. asi if you couldn't get the same news elsewhere for nothing.

        Seems everything is closing down or raising prices as people keep losing jobs!

          yea....seen it on the news. they showed these people packing up their desk's n'shyt...very sad

            It's unfrotuante as it was truly one of the great news papers out there.

            I used to get it all the time and check on line as well.
            It's sad.
