I grew up in the heart of NASCAR country. Have liked it up untill they started with the car of tomorrow to try to balance the competition. To me, that has caused a down turn in the sport. I like what Dale Sr. said a few years before he died. " Move the spectators back about 4 rows, make stronger taller fences and take off the restricter plates. Run as fast as you dare. Thatr will make better racing."
If you don't think it is a demandig sport, go take one of the NASCAR driving experences.You are in a slightly detuned actual NASCAR, follow a professional driver to speeds approaching 165 on some tracks. Ihave driven at Lowes in Charlotte at 145. I am now heading to Talledega for 18 laps with speeds approaching 175. Just put yourself in a car and imagine 42 others around you at that speed only inches apart.

I totally agree. It screwed a lot of the teams. Hendrick seems to have it figured out but the other teams cant seem to catch up. Its kinda like when the Bulls kept winning in the NBA. People loose interest. Get back to the heart of it. The cars are so safe now, let them go at it. I have done the Nascar experience also. Its hard work. I couldnt imagine doing it for hours on end. A girls gotta pee!

last time i checked those cars didnt have windows to act like a blocker. I dont think i would want to look like i just had a cooler of gaterade dumped on me

There's no side windows. But there is a front window...with the cool peel off strips!
