Hmmm. that actually helped me understand the Iraqi perspective. I can see how they would rely on the Americans too heavily. The Americans wouldn't march south they would load up in armored Humvee's with 50 caliber machine guns mounted on top with access to air support and yet this guy wants the Iraqi police to just start marching south with their Ak's and provoke a gun fight with guys in defensive positions.

This isn't so, they have access to all the support they need and they are very well equipped. They are just what he said they were. They could run those retards out of there in a minute, but some are loyal to other militia's.
That country is a huge ashtray anyway.

If they have the resources the Americans have - they are straight up cowards but if I was an Iraqi and I thought the Americans could do a mission with very little risk or the Iraqi police could attempt to do it with heavy casualties - I'd question whether I had made a good career move or if my loyalties were on the right side.
