Went into work today and as we are getting ready to go on another 2 week layoff,we were told there is as of now 18 weeks of scheduled downtime for this year.The thing is it's only Feb and they could add more as we go.
I'm not complaining,i'm happy to still have a job,just thought you may find it interesting in today's economic climate.
i know bro...i know. i feel for you guys man. i wish we could get these banks to start approving loans again!! i wish people would feel the need too, at the very least, check out domestic vehicles before making the choice to buy foriegn. i'm affraid it's not gonna get any better very quick...

you can still get loans...i have bought a new toyhauler rv and a new truck, as well as refianced my house this last 3 months...good rates too...but i have almost perfect credit...guess im lucky

dude...ofcourse PEOPLE can get loans...but believe me, plenty of GOOD people are being denied depending on the lending source as well as, what i believe is happening, profiling by type of job you have or area you live in. people with 50% down, buying a unit 2-3k under book value to begin with, 700 becon score, 15yr employee for a supplier....NO LOAN FOR YOU!! thats bullshyt!!!

first of all...ford didnt take any LOAN from the government. nobody GAVE them shyt. second of all, the money was pieced to gm and chrysler....they only got a 90day supply. ford going forward with their plan and i hope it works and they never need the government LOAN
