The vote was 244-188, with Republicans unanimous in opposition despite Obama's pleas for bipartisan support. Eleven Democrats voted against the measure, while no Republicans supported it.

Excellent, now if people will pull their heads out of their asses hopefully when can win back the majority of house and senate in 2010.

That clip was oddly on the mark for a commie station like msnbc? They are right, the only thing this does is increase the size and scope of government.
It is a REAL GOOD MOVE for the republicans to unanimously reject this bill. Obama wanted repub votes so in four years when the finger of blame will be pointed at him, he wanted to be able to say the repubs wanted the bill also.

AND DID YOU KNOW GO DO SOME FACTS FIT THAT THEY ARE USING 350MILLION DOLLARS FOR STDS RESEARCH FIT. This whole stimulus package just makes me sick. I seen a news clip where Nancy Pelosi said more food stamps would stimulated the economy than tax cuts. This is how ignorant the people in charge are.
