Yah, I just saw on CNN how many wars, have broken out without the resolution, or whatever you call it from the UN...so it wont be the first time its happened.

You guys are so gung-ho over this war, I have to wonder if you are looking at the big picture. It is much more than simply the US vs. Iraq. This thing could easily swing into World War III. Bush’s decision has basically spit in the face of some of our allies. I’m sure they will take it to hart.

I am not against a war with Iraq at all. I am opposed to the way the Bush administration is handling it. Things could get VERY ugly.
Well, now China and Russia know not to fuck with us either. If they are not willing to make this world a safe place then they need to step aside and keep thei traps closed. British and spain are the only other Countrys with a spine IMO.

I don't mean to rain on your parade but where will you draw the line. Will you stop at Iraq and and Cuba. What about Canada's untapped resources it wiill be very beneficial to Americans in 20 years or so when your fresh water reserves have dwindlied to a teardrop. What about China? Do you think it would be a great idea to invade them in 10 years since there's a large depot of natural resurces there unharnessed and haven't been exploited yet by the Chinese. Don't get me wrong I love America and what it stands for I have had some heated debates with colleagues and and people I barely know trying my best to defend America and its policy. My grandfather served in the Army during WW2, my uncles were officers in the US Navy, my cousin in California was sent somewhere in the Middle East( I can't sat where) a couple of months ago. And for what?

I am an American by heart, Welsh by birth and a Canadian by choice.

We almost were sucked into a Nuclear war because the US was too loose on Cuba. BAY of PIGS? Cuba will fall and if you didn't catch the irony I was laying it on pretty thick.

FYI, It was Kennedy's fault the Bay of Pigs invasion was a fiasco. It was all setup and planned well and then he lost his nerve because he thought that his popularity will go down. He listened to Bobby who was so inexperienced in foreign policy instead of listening to the members of the farm and the joint chief of staffs. First he ordered 15 planes and then 10 cut down to 5 until finally there where only two left to bomb the airfields. " Too loose on Cuba" who are you to dictate a sovereign country what to do. It's not like there weren't any nukes stored in the Philippines aimed at Russia, lol and China during the Cold War. Tit for tat. I didn't lay this one thick for your benefit since you might not grasp it. Education, something I pick up after high school.

BTW, my intention wasn't to get in to a flame war. Please don't hurt me.

The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.
