I know everyones' got their opinion on ol' Bear, but tonight he's going to be in Hells Canyon in eastern oregon ! this is a favorite stomping ground of mine in the spring and end of summer, it gets really hot is why, in the 100's! there is alot of history there, Chief Joseph held off the army in the surrounding Wallowa Mountains, also a group of chinese miners where attacked and killed at Dug Bar. there is alot of protected wildlife, bighorn sheep, dal sheep. mule deer, elk, lots of cougar, and rattle snakes. and did I mention GOLD ! oh yeah, one hell of a place to kick it !

i personally liked surviorman much better... but it cool he is going some where you have been.... i just don't like the fact he takes a whole crew with him and think he got caught one time staying in a hotel.... but known the less it is very cool you will see a place you have been on tv should bring back some good memories“Don't worry about life, you're not going to survive it anyway.”

Have you seen his new cereal commercial? I was watching something else on the station and this commercial came on and I was like - WTF? I wasnt watching that! It looks just like the show......brilliant! I'll try to catch it....he's dreamy....lol!A faithful heart makes wishes come true.

Yeah I like Les Stroud too, he seems like a guy you could sit and burn one with. as far as the two, Bear does some s#it I wouldn't try like dive in a raging river thats freezin a$$ cold or just go running and tumbling down a steep hill..and not to mention drinking my pee through a snake hide.lol! none the less I find both of the shows entertaining, probally because I can relate in a way. the way of survival and improv in remote, and sometimes not too remote invironments, and suffering the bittersweet hardships. the freedom of the hills has allways been my safe haven from all of lives lil up's and downs..plus not to mention all the downtown bulls#it.Leaders did what others weren't willing to do, now they enjoy the things that others do not.

Thats what I thought too, was kinda like it was only on for half an hour or something ? and the pole vaulting down the hill is a new one for me.Leaders did what others weren't willing to do, now they enjoy the things that others do not.
