Re: How Stimulus Affects You
its really all about working the system. You do have a to have a valid claim to get on unemployment to begin with but then it's as simple as you have to go apply at so many jobs per week and all you do is put down that your minimal acceptable salary is way more than they would be willing to pay. You can then continue to stay on it because your fulfilling the requirements of the program. Also getting on it is really just working the system to make your claim valid and acceptable. Now there are people that use unemployment properly and im sure you are one of them. there are jobs out there they just might not be willing to be one that you want to do. Almost every fast food place in the nation is looking for management. They make about 30k a year. yea it's not great and it's shitty work but it's something to get you by until you can find something better. I have never not been able to find a job because when i need to eat and i need to make money i am willing to do almost anything. Part of the problem is people get laid of from a job that they liked and made 50k or so a year and they think it's unacceptable to do work that they consider below them. Like i said there are people that use unemployment properly and im all for those people that use it but the abuse rate of unemployment is just to high.
