Said by www.weather.gov A STRONG SLOW MOVING STORM WILL BRING AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF HEAVY SNOW AND WINDS TO NORTHEASTERN COLORADO AND THE EAST SLOPES OF THE FRONT RANGE. THIS STORM WILL LIKELY BE AS BAD AS THE OCTOBER 1997 BLIZZARD...AND IT COULD TURN OUT TO BE ONE OF THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALLS IN DENVER HISTORY.

The storm in October 97 was crazy. This is going to be nuts. Going to be some good snow boarding come next weekend. Driving will be a pain though. It has been in the 70's all last week. Nothing like crazy spring weather. -
