    hows that global warming treating you??!! it was only -13 when i took the kids to the bus stop this morning!!!!!

            It's this type weather that makes you realize just have drafty your house/office really is!

            I have a space heater in my office cranked up and it's still cold.

            At home, we have this 2 inch gap under the double doors upstairs. I stuffed towels under it, but it's not helping. The 1940's windows are not very energy efficient. I can just feel the cold air coming off them.

                this is really the time to ensure you turned the water off that leads to the outside spickets as well as drain the last few dropped that may be in the few inches of pipe. don't want any broken water pipes in your basement

                  I always thought you needed to keep a lite drip going so the pipes wouldnt freeze up. My old man used to keep the upstairs sink running
