The Golden Compass
I just now watch it this week. I like alot of the ideas of the movie, but thought it was kinda cheeeeeeeesy!

I think it would have been better portrayed as an adult film (no not porn) instead of curtailing it to children more.
The story line has HUGE potential and the books may be better but I think there is a lot that can be done with the story in a movie if they approached it just wee bit differnt.
