I love steaks on the grill! What seasoning does everyone use to cook up a great steak? What other meats do you like to cook on the grill and how do you cook them?
I use montreal and lawry's steak seasoning!

If its a filet or porterhouse, none... season to taste. If a top round london broil then I like a soy sauce/teriyaki based marinade for several hours, overnight is better.
2 cups teriaki sauce
1 heaping tbs of garlic
2 tbsp onion powder
2 tbsp of sugar

Prime cuts, just grill them slowly.
Lesser cuts, Iuse a combination of worchestershire sauce, black pepper and finely minced garlic. Marinate them for about 2 hours.
Push it, Pull it, Rack it. Repeat untill wide!!

Tony's/red pepper on everything beef and I smoke them on the pit with red oak. Now pork I use Tony's along with cinnamon/ red pepper/and either Mollases or Suryp(sp)- that make a great glaze on pork
My mommy makes a rub out of salt and seasonings that is just plain awesome, i'll have to ask her for the recipe but it's good

I love New Yorks' and Porterhouse, just some cracked black n' a lil salt..I do like the Montreal seasoning too. another thing I like to grill is King Salmon,..just remember the key is to keep it simple. also, real wood like oak, mesquite etc, will make an exceptional difference in adding flavor when it comes to real char-broiling anything !
