Please! If there are vast amounts of people making 3K net and have no bills, they would be buying cars cash. No loan would be needed.
Sorry you find us "negative Nancy's", I'll blow smoke up your butt if you prefer.

Big ticket items will be coming back real soon!

        Feel better?

As frustrating as it may be for you, when we poke fun at the government for the decisions they are currently making, i't's not to take jabs at you. I wish you nothing but the best.

...i'm sitting at 17units for the month (dec) and about 7k made. out of the 17 units, 12 are cash!!!..i'd say big ticket items are coming back already a little...not new, but used are....they (the banks) need to lend bro. and it dont matter if it's "vast amounts of people" or fukin 1....he DESERVES to be able to get the loan he wants regardless of his ability to pay cash!! i've sold HUNDREDS of cars to people that COULD pay cash, but for whatever reason, wanted to take a loan...
and your STILL a negative nancy!!
also...this had nothing to do with the government...it was gmac that loosened the 700 credit score rule!!!! something that i felt the other banks should have done with the 700billion we gave them! that was my point

where her is the link from the Ford website:

Your barely lighter- more expensive- just a little better MPG(but @120mph- it really doesn't matter)-and still do NOT have as much HP-LOL Keep trying Dave- just admit- your going to work for a Toyota dealership- so you can sell the best truck on the street. Maybe you might want to compare a Lightning or SRT- thats the only way your gonna beat the Tundra-

Toyota Tacoma vs. Ford F-150 Review

How the Toyota Tacoma stacks up against the Ford F-150 - by Nigel Cooper, Topanga CA

              2009 Toyota Tacoma
              Price Range: $14,280 - $27,075
              2009 Ford F-150
              Price Range: $17,900 - $36,100
Toyota Tacoma vs. Ford F-150 Review

              Performance
Both the Toyota Tacoma and the Ford F-150 are likely to feel somewhat sluggish because of their high horsepower-to-weight ratio.
              Handling
The Ford and the Toyota have roughly similar tires. With its tighter turning radius, the Tacoma is doubtless more maneuverable than the Ford F-150, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the other hand, note that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.
              Drivetrain
The Ford's engine is tremendously bigger than the Toyota's. Keep in mind that bigger engines may use more gas than smaller ones. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Ford F-150 is tremendously more powerful than the Toyota Tacoma. Torque equals pickup, and the Ford F-150 will have picked up and gone by the time the Toyota Tacoma finally gets moving.
              Utility
Drivers with frequent child-duty might favor the Ford F-150 over the Toyota Tacoma. There's no clear winner between the F-150 and the Tacoma regarding hauling capacity. Towing is substantially more the Ford F-150's forte than it is the Toyota Tacoma's.
              Comfort
While the front cabin in the Ford F-150 offers a bit more head room than the Toyota, there honestly isn't much of a difference. The ampler interior dimensions of the Ford make it more spacious for your passengers than the Toyota Tacoma.
              Dimensions
Both the Toyota Tacoma and the Ford F-150 are likely to feel a little slow because of their high horsepower-to-weight ratio. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Ford F-150 than the Toyota Tacoma because of its larger tank. The Toyota Tacoma and the Ford compete for the same parking spaces. The Toyota Tacoma's shorter wheelbase will give a sprier feel in daily traffic. On the other hand, the Ford F-150 is likely to have a smoother, more stable ride.
              Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Toyota Tacoma is markedly cheaper to get to the dealership than the F-150. In terms of MSRP, the Ford F-150 costs markedly more than the Toyota Tacoma. The Toyota Tacoma will save you a bunch of money at the pump every year compared to the Ford F-150.
              Overview
The Ford F-150 and the Toyota Tacoma have the same basic after-sale protection.
              Other
The Toyota Tacoma emits fewer smog-forming pollutants per 15,000 miles than the Ford F-150.

I thought you were in the Truck buisness???? You of all peeps should know NOT to compare a Tacoma to a full size half ton truck- why not make it even and put the Ranger against the Tacoma??? Thats the only way Ford will come out on top- is to stack the deck and compare against a smaller truck-LOL

                        Re: an example!!!

well i didnt even see where the tundra made the list goofy!!! i thaught i was gonna compair it to a truck that, atleast the rest of your texas brethren gave SOME credit too...

ok...we'll go with the truck that is an absolute NON-factor

                        2009 Ford F-150
                        Price Range: $17,900 - $36,100
                        2009 Toyota Tundra
                        Price Range: $22,390 - $42,170
Ford F-150 vs. Toyota Tundra Review

                        Handling
The Ford F-150 and the Toyota Tundra have approximately similar tires. With their comparable turning circles, the Toyota Tundra and the Ford F-150 most definitely handle about the same into and out of tight spots.
                        Drivetrain
The Ford F-150's engine is substantially more massive than the Tundra's. Note that more sizeable engines may use more gasoline than smaller ones. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Ford F-150 is markedly more powerful than the Toyota Tundra. The Toyota Tundra could learn a lesson or two from the Ford in terms of torque.
                        Utility
The Ford and the Toyota Tundra can accommodate the same number of passengers. The Ford F-150 is likely a better choice than the Toyota Tundra when it comes to transporting cargo, especially if you often need to carry a lot of cargo or sizeable pets. Towing is significantly more the Ford F-150's forte than it is the Tundra's.
                        Convenience
You'll most definitely take the Toyota Tundra for a fill-up approximately as often as the F-150.
                        Comfort
While the front cabin in the F-150 offers a bit more head room than the Toyota Tundra, there really isn't much of a difference. The F-150 provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Toyota Tundra does.
                        Dimensions
The Ford F-150 is somewhat heavier than the Toyota Tundra. The Toyota Tundra's tank is approximately the same size as the Ford's, though the F-150's is somewhat bigger. The Toyota Tundra rides lower than the Ford, which is a good thing for its center of gravity and ease of access. The Toyota Tundra and the F-150 compete for the same parking spaces. The Toyota's shorter wheelbase will give a more agile feel in daily traffic. On the flip side, the Ford is likely to have a smoother, more stable ride.
                        Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Toyota Tundra is markedly cheaper to get to the dealership than the Ford F-150. The Ford F-150 doesn't pale in comparison to the Toyota Tundra with respect to fuel economy. The Ford F-150 won't save you much money at the pump compared to the Toyota Tundra. The Ford F-150 isn't much more expensive than the Toyota Tundra as far as MSRP. The F-150 is an affordable speedster.
                        Overview
The Toyota Tundra and the Ford F-150 have the same basic warranty.

now see, your taking some guys word for what truck is what. I'm here to tell ya that Ford or Chevy don't compare and thats real world talk. I pull trailers and put the pedal to the floor till there aint no more. 1/2 ton Ford or Chevy can't keep up- period. I didn't read that- I proved it on the street. Do I think Ford builds a good truck? Damn straight!, but the Yota out works it all day long. Just do me a favor- don't compare a little truck against a full size truck to prove numbers- just post the specs for equally equiped vehicles and let the cards fall where they may-LOL

I'm glad that you and I can have this debate- I have much respect for ya and I hope this crappy economy turns around so you can rub in my face how many your selling- cause that'l mean your making so real dough! Love Ya Bro!

Love Ya Bro!
well, actually had a great dec. sold 17units and pulled a little over 7k. it'll take me about 2 more month's, at that rate, to straighten us out, so hopefully i stay busy. but, i sell used bro....at a medium duty gmc lot. thats not too say biz is good....not nearly in the nieghborhood of good!! and, not to sound ****y, but the average good salesman closes around 30% of the people he talks too...i hover around 50%. yep....i'm that good, lol. as long as SOMEONE has an intrest in something i have, if i talk to them....chances are the buy it. new car sales are trashed. usedcar sales are not good at all. you have some sales people doing good, but the overall health of the stores are terrible. i'll get mine, i just hate to see the industry in this shape. when it's like this, it effects everything.
the info i work with aint just someone that writes it, it's the contractors that buy them. i just find it hard to believe that contractor would continue to buy an inferior product, and i cant get them all to sign on here to voice their opinions, lol. it's ok bro...if i was you, i'd be waving the dotted flag as well! i wouldnt admit i've made a mistake either. people do silly things out of frustration...you had a bad experience with gm and figured you'd "show them!!!"...it's cool....GO TONKA...er yoda...er..TOYOTA!!! (whatever it's called)
HE WHO MAKES A BEAST OF HIMSELF, GET'S RID OF THE PAIN OF BEING A MAN!!

Well I'm glad you still got your head above water and that your moving vehicles. With the deals they are giving out, anyone who can afford to buy- SHOULD. Hang in there, we are feeling the pain down here in the Chemical Industry- they are shutting plans down left and right. Heck they are laying off contractors and some company peeps at the salary levels. Tighten your bely and lets ride this thing out. I'll stick to my Yota for now, but if Ford would ever stop swapping motors- I'd like to go back Diesel- gotta say the Duramax has come al long way- who knows what the future holds-
